Answers

Can I join PRI?

Sorry, but we are not currently looking for new investigators. Should we ever be recruiting new investigators, announcements will be posted on the main page of the PRI website.

Do you offer private home investigations?

Generally speaking, we do not offer private home investigations on a regular basis for a multitude of reasons ranging from liability to safety and personal preferences. Fortunately, there are a number of excellent paranormal investigation groups offering private home investigations throughout southern Ontario.

If you are looking for a group to investigate your private home, please see our links section.

Do you offer investigations of historic sties/businesses?

Yes. We are available to investigate businesses, heritage sites, not-for-profit organizations, etc. Please contact us for more details.

Can I suggest a location for an investigation?

Yes. Just keep in mind that we will not investigate any location that requires trespassing or otherwise breaking the law.

Should I pay a group to investigate or cleanse my home?

NO!! We firmly believe that charging money for any type of "paranormal service" (investigations or other) is completely unethical. This is NOT a proven field or an exact science. Nobody has scientifically proven the existence of "ghosts" or other paranormal entities. Therefore, no one can guarantee that their investigation services (or "cleansing" services, as offered by some individuals) will be effective.

Additionally, people experiencing alleged activity may be extremely frightened, needing help and not knowing where to turn. Charging for paranormal-related services may therefore be seen as exploiting people's fears and beliefs for profit. In our opinion, the goal of paranormal investigation should be knowledge, not financial gain. With financial gain out of the picture, evidence may stand a slightly better chance of holding up to scrutiny.

PLEASE do not let anyone convince you or anyone you know to pay for any type of paranormal service. Check out our links section, where you will find other investigation groups who will not charge you a dime for their services.
