Summary of the PRI Investigation of the "Shadow House"

The name of the location involved in this investigation has been changed in order to protect the privacy of the residents. As such, the location will simply be referred to as the "Shadow House", due to the phenomena reported by the homeowners. Likewise, the names of the eyewitnesses have been omitted to protect their privacy. This investigation was conducted at the request and permission of the homeowners.

On February 28, 2008, the PRI conducted an investigation at a private residence west of London, ON. The homeowner ("Jane") reported being "visited""by shadowy entities. Jane told us that she has witnessed one entity in particular on numerous occasions, and at one point this entity made physical contact with her, waking her up with the feeling of a finger pressing against the back of her neck.

Monitoring equipment (an infrared modified webcam and an analogue audio recorder) were left running in the master bedroom during the investigation. Additionally, numerous photographs, audio recodings EMF readings were taken throughout the house.

Our investigation of the home yielded very little evidence of paranormal activity. Several light anomalies were captured on digital cameras, but may easily be dismissed as being the result of natural airborne particles or other reflective surfaces. As a result, we cannot conclude that any paranormal activity has taken place at this location.
